A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
Here we are, well on our way into 2024, and at that familiar point where we begin to suspect the new year is just a continuation of the last. Still, we are optimistic. We trust that by combining everything we’ve learned in 2023 with our new routines and newer convictions, we are better equipped for whatever comes our way.
Caregiven’s 2024 focus is to help you identify and contextualize within a caregiving framework, then maximize the tools and resources already available. Through new content and benefits navigation features, our goal is to guide you first to what you have, rather than overwhelm you with all that you could add.
We know caregiving is overwhelming, in part, due to the abundance of articles, anecdotes, and “advice.” This year, much like the last, our intention is not to add noise, but to continue providing simple tools that empower you to make appropriate choices.
Best wishes,
This Month's Blogs
If you follow Caregiven on social media, you will find that each month we promote health and social themes as well as tailor resources and information in support of caregivers facing those topics. Below you’ll find curated posts on veteran care, legal caregiving, and resonating words from other caregivers that we’d like to highlight for the month of May.
Unfortunately, breaches in data security are more of a probability than any of us should be comfortable with. Caregiven takes every precaution to protect sensitive information provided by our users:
We ensure your data is always encrypted.
We recommend the use of two-factor authentication for an additional layer of security.
We have chosen to host our platform on the same industry-leading infrastructure used by NASA, General Electric, and the Dow Jones.
We employ continuous monitoring that protects against nefarious attempts to access Caregiven’s data.
We mirror Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior Vice President of Software Engineering, as to words and commitment; “as threats to consumer data grow, we’ll keep finding ways to fight back on behalf of our users by adding even more powerful protections.”*
