A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
For me, November is my opportunity to end the year with grace and begin the new year with a fresh perspective. In planning for the year ahead, it's important to acknowledge what was accomplished outweighs the burden of what remains to be done.
When caring for my dad, despite all I knew I was doing, it never resonated with me as enough. Continued interaction with caregivers indicates that feeling resonates, which is why one of Caregiven’s newest features was designed and why we are celebrating it during National Family Caregivers month.
November is also the month set aside to recognize the 36 billion hours and $600B value that caregivers provide (AARP), reminding each of us to include them in our annual “what I am thankful for” reflections.
The opportunity to care for my father was life-changing and led me to create Caregiven, a resource which supports caregivers.

In addition to National Family Caregivers Month, November is also the time we celebrate Veterans and acknowledge the unique challenges of having or caring for someone who has a lung-based illness.
